1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to learn about our products and shop with us, including people with disabilities. Making our website easier to use is ongoing work, and we welcome your feedback.
This statement applies to our website and online store at motherearthlabs.com, operated by High Coast Capital L.L.C., doing business as Mother Earth Labs USA.
2. The standard we aim for
We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). They explain how to make web content more usable for people with a wide range of disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have mobility, speech or cognitive disabilities.
3. What we do
We:
- add text descriptions (alt text) to most of our product images;
- give product information, such as directions, as text on our product pages. On many pages, the Supplement Facts label is shown only as an image. We'll read it to you or send it to you as text on request (Section 5);
- help customers who have trouble using our website, including by phone and email (Section 5); and
- review this statement at least once a year and when we make major changes to our website.
We haven't yet tested our website against the standard in Section 2.
4. Features provided by other companies
Some parts of our website are provided by other companies. These include checkout (Shopify), live chat (Gorgias), customer reviews (Judge.me), subscriptions and subscription management (Appstle), our rewards program (Smile.io), email sign-up forms (Klaviyo), back-in-stock alerts (STOQ), bundle offers (Kaching Bundles), discount verification for eligible groups (GovX ID), spam protection on our contact form (hCaptcha) and our returns portal (Loop Returns).
We don't control how these features are built, and some may not work as well with assistive technology as the rest of our website. If any feature doesn't work for you, contact us and we'll help you do what you need another way, such as by phone or email.
5. Other ways to shop and get help
You can call us at (210) 408-2800, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Central Time, excluding US federal holidays, or email customersupport@motherearthlabs.com at any time. We can:
- answer questions about our products and read you the information on a product label, such as ingredients, directions and warnings;
- help you place a one-time order: we can create the order for you and email you a secure link to pay, at the same prices, and with the same discount codes, available on our website for one-time purchases (we can't set up a new subscription by phone);
- help you with your account, existing subscriptions, refunds, returns and rewards; and
- send you information from our website in another format, such as plain text by email, when we can.
Our team can't give medical advice.
6. Tell us about a problem
If you have trouble using any part of our website, please tell us. It helps if you include:
- the web address (URL) of the page;
- what you were trying to do and what happened; and
- if you'd like to share it, the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using.
Email customersupport@motherearthlabs.com with the subject line "Accessibility," or call (210) 408-2800. Our AI support assistant may answer emails first, so ask for a team member in your message. We usually reply within 1 business day. We'll work with you to solve the problem. If we can't fix it right away, we'll help you get what you need another way and tell you what we're doing about it.
7. Customers in the European Union
This section gives the information required by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
Our service. Our online store lets you browse product information, create an account, buy products, manage subscriptions and contact customer support, including to ask for a refund or start a return. It runs on the Shopify platform, and checkout is provided by Shopify.
How we work to meet accessibility requirements. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our target. We haven't yet tested our online store against it, and we don't claim that every page meets it. WCAG 2.2 Level AA includes the WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria that the European standard EN 301 549 applies to websites. If any product information isn't accessible to you, including a Supplement Facts label shown as an image, contact us and we'll provide it in an accessible format. We offer the support channels in Section 5 for anyone who can't use a feature of our website.
Feedback and complaints. Please contact us first using Section 6. If you aren't satisfied with our response, you can contact the authority responsible for enforcing accessibility requirements in your country.
