What's in every scoop: vanilla whey protein isolate ingredients
- Whey protein isolate · 24.5 g — from grass-fed cows on Wisconsin family farms, cold cross-flow filtered, for 22 g of protein.
- ProHydrolase® · 87,500 HUT — a protease enzyme complex with endopeptidase and exopeptidase activity.
- BioCore™ Optimum · 9 enzymes — a digestive enzyme blend with four proteases, amylase, glucoamylase, invertase, diastase and lipase.
- Creatine MagnaPower® · 1,000 mg — a creatine and magnesium ingredient. The 1,000 mg is the weight of the whole ingredient, not creatine alone.
- Vanilla Cream flavor — natural vanilla flavoring and stevia, with sunflower lecithin for smooth mixing.
How to mix a vanilla protein shake or smoothie
- Add one scoop to 8–12 fl oz of water, milk or almond milk, or to a smoothie.
- Shake or blend until smooth. A shaker bottle or blender works best.
- Enjoy it after a workout or any time of day. One scoop a day.
You can also stir it into yogurt or add it to baked goods for the protein. Heat reduces enzyme activity.
Store it tightly sealed in a cool, dry place.
Caution: Not intended for children. Keep out of reach of children. If you're pregnant or nursing, take medication or have a medical condition, ask your doctor before use. Don't use it if you're allergic to milk.
To report a serious adverse event, call 210-408-2800.

How much protein is in a scoop?
Each scoop of our Vanilla Cream Grass-Fed Whey Protein Isolate has 22 g of protein from 24.5 g of whey protein isolate (about 90% protein by weight).
What's the difference between whey isolate and whey concentrate?
Whey isolate is filtered further than whey concentrate, so more of each gram is protein and less is lactose and fat. Our whey isolate is filtered by cold cross-flow ultrafiltration.
Does it have all the essential amino acids?
Yes. Whey isolate is a complete protein with all nine essential amino acids, and the label's profile also lists taurine. We'll add leucine per scoop after lab testing.
Is whey protein isolate lactose-free?
No. Whey isolate is filtered to remove most of the lactose, but it's still a milk product and isn't lactose-free. Contains: Milk.
What digestive enzymes are in this whey protein?
Two enzyme blends: ProHydrolase®, a protease complex (87,500 HUT), and BioCore™ Optimum, nine enzymes including four proteases. Each is listed by enzyme activity in the Supplement Facts.
Does it contain creatine?
Yes. Each scoop has 1,000 mg of Creatine MagnaPower®, a creatine and magnesium ingredient. The 1,000 mg is the weight of the whole ingredient, not creatine alone.
Can you mix protein powder with electrolytes?
Yes. We suggest keeping them as two drinks: SportActive electrolytes in water during your workout, and a whey shake after it. Whey protein isn't an electrolyte drink.
Does it contain caffeine?
No. It's caffeine-free and stimulant-free.
Is whey protein isolate gluten-free?
It's made with no wheat or gluten-containing ingredients, but it isn't tested or labeled gluten-free.
Whey vs. plant protein: which should I choose?
Choose whey if you want a milk-based isolate: 24.5 g of grass-fed whey isolate gives 22 g of protein, and whey is naturally rich in leucine (we'll list ours per scoop after lab testing). If you prefer plant protein, our Veggie Protein Fusion plant protein powder is made from sacha inchi, pea and brown rice with no dairy ingredients (made in a facility that also handles milk).
When should I take it?
Whenever you want 22 g of protein: after a workout, with breakfast or as a snack.
How many scoops should I have a day?
Have one scoop a day.
How long does a tub last?
A tub holds 30 scoops, so it lasts 30 days at one scoop a day.
How does the subscription work?
Choose how often it renews: every 30, 60, 90 or 120 days. Subscription orders are 10% off: $1.62 a scoop instead of $1.80. It renews automatically until you cancel.
Can I take it with other supplements or medication?
If you take another creatine product, count the 1,000 mg in each scoop toward your daily total. If you take medication or have a medical condition, ask your doctor before use.
Is it for adults only?
Yes. It's formulated for adults and isn't intended for children.
What does it taste like?
Vanilla Cream: a light vanilla shake made with natural vanilla flavoring. It mixes smooth in a shaker bottle or blender.
Is it a stevia-sweetened protein powder? Does it contain sugar?
Yes, it's sweetened with stevia, with mild sweetness from VitaFiber® (IMO). Each scoop has under 1 g of total sugars, including the milk sugar (lactose) that occurs naturally in whey, and no sucrose (table sugar).
